Pre-calculus Grade 12th
In Grade 12 Math, students will deepen their understanding of transformations of functions and relations, focusing on more advanced concepts. They will explore exponential functions and equations, along with geometric sequences and series. The course covers logarithms, including operations, functions, and equations, and expands on polynomial functions and equations. Students will study rational functions and analyze their behavior. Trigonometry will continue, with a focus on advanced functions, equations, and identities. This course prepares students for complex mathematical problem-solving, laying the foundation for calculus and other higher-level mathematics.
In Grade 12 Math, students will study functions and their graphs, focusing on analyzing their behavior and characteristics. They will explore limits, including left and right limits, and limits to infinity, along with the concept of continuity. Differentiation will be a key topic, covering rate of change, differentiation rules, and higher-order and implicit differentiation. Students will apply differentiation techniques in real-world scenarios. The course also introduces integration, focusing on approximations, the fundamental theorem of calculus, and methods of integration. Applications of integration will be explored, helping students understand its practical uses in various fields of study.

In Grade 12 Chemistry, students will study reaction rates and collision theory to understand how chemical reactions occur. They will explore energy changes during reactions and reaction mechanisms, including the role of catalysts. The course covers the dynamic nature of chemical equilibrium, Le Châtelier’s principle, and how equilibrium shifts. Students will learn about the equilibrium constant (Keq), saturated solutions, and the solubility product (Ksp). The course also examines the relative strength of acids and bases, titration, and the hydrolysis of ions in salt solutions. Topics include applications of acid-base reactions, oxidation-reduction processes, electrochemical and electrolytic cells, and quantitative relationships in chemistry.
